Backcountry is arguably the most popular luxury community in Highlands Ranch. The views are outstanding in Backcountry because the Rocky Mountains can be seen from many of the homes in this Highlands Ranch area. Shopping, restaurants, and new healthcare facilities are all within walking distance of the subdivision.
Children from this neighborhood attend Stone Mountain Elementary, Ranch View Middle, and Thunder Ridge High School, which are all close by. Highlands Ranch Metro District, Capital Consultants Management Corp manages the Backcountry HOA, which provides homeowners with a clubhouse, common area grounds maintenance, community pool, fitness center, insurance, road maintenance, snow removal, and trash removal.
Shea Homes constructed this neighborhood between 2004 and 2018 and there are 954 high-end single-family and luxury homes in the neighborhood.

Stratton Ridge is in the northern section of Highlands Ranch. HACA manages the HOA, which includes amenities such as a community pool, exercise center, tennis courts, and trash collection.
Eastridge Recreational Center is about 2 miles away and offers a variety of youth and adult exercise programs as well as hosting a variety of community events. Falcon Hills has 113 gated homes with 3,900 6,500 completed square feet that were built between 1985 and 1992. Highlands Ranch Golf Club is set against the background of the Rocky Mountains and offers everyday play, tournaments, and special events just 0.7 miles away.
The neighboring schools for children include Northridge Elementary, Mountain Ridge Middle, and Mountain Vista High School. Homeowners Association at Highlands Ranch manages the HOA, which provides the clubhouse, fitness center, common area grounds care, and tennis courts.

The majority of the homes in this neighborhood are two-story ranches with 2,500-5,500 completed square feet on quarter-acre lots. Shea Homes, Richmond American Homes produced 432 homes with 2200-4000 above grade square feet at Highlands Ranch Golf Club between 1999 and 2004. The open concept and vaulted ceilings of this subdivision’s homes give beauty to the living room, and the dining room flows elegantly into the living area. With a calming water feature, the sceneries are given a professional touch. The higher-end homes here tend to sell just a bit over the $1,000,000 mark.
Kentley Hills neighborhood is near the center of the city and as a result, locals have easy access to much of the area’s shopping and activities.
Kentley Hills is a short drive from both the Eastridge and Southridge shopping districts. Both have a wide range of supermarket and specialized stores, as well as dining options. Park Meadows Mall, which is only a few minutes away and is a regional shopping favorite.
Residents may get out and enjoy the open area at Kentley Hills, which offers trails that connect across Highlands Ranch.
