The Meadows community is located off Meadows Parkway on the northwest side of Castle Rock. It is one of Castle Rock’s largest communities to live in, and it continues to grow and expand every year!
The Meadows is known for having fantastic schools. Meadow View Elementary, Castle Rock Middle School, and Castle View High School received 8 out of 10 ratings from the education resource, Great Schools. Academy Charter School, Aspen View Academy, and Ascent Classical Academy are other great alternative schools in the Meadows.
Castle Rock Adventist Hospital is only a short drive away if you live in the Meadows. The North Meadows is also accessible to various shopping opportunities, including the Outlets at Castle Rock and downtown Castle Rock’s mom and pop stores.
If you live in the Meadows and need to travel up to Denver or down to Colorado Springs, I-25 is only a few minutes away. Highway 85, commonly referred to as Santa Fe, is also quickly accessible for residents of the Meadows.

The Terrain is a relatively newer Castle Rock neighborhood that brings the environment and community together. This community is nestled in a wide valley with plenty of open space and pathways. The Terrain is currently being developed by reputable housebuilders such as D.R. Horton, Richmond Homes, and KB Homes. This neighborhood was designed to highlight the natural beauty of the area it sits on.
It also has close access to highways and roads to get to Denver, Colorado Springs, and Parker very quickly. The Terrain is around 5 minutes from Castle Rock’s downtown area and 5 minutes from I-25. The commute time to Denver Tech Center is around 25 minutes, while the commute time to Downtown Denver is approximately 35 minutes. About 45 minutes south of Denver in Colorado Springs. You can also get to Parker Road in less than 10 minutes from the Terrain.
The Terrain offers a dog park, community pools, open space parks, and even an elementary school. The Terrain is conveniently located near a major hospital. One can get to the Castle Rock Adventist Hospital in around 10-15 minutes. This neighborhood is not far at all from the Outlets at Castle Rock and Downtown Castle Rock.

Like the Terrain, Crystal Valley is growing like crazy. This neighborhood is full of new homes and developments.
Crystal Valley is Castle Rock’s Southernmost neighborhood, so, it offers quick access to I-25 to get to Colorado Springs. The area is close to downtown Castle Rock, but if you want to go to stores or restaurants around the Outlets at Castle Rock you will need to get on the highway.
When looking for a new home in the Crystal Valley region, SkyView is a great place to start. It gives you quick and simple access to Castle Rock’s downtown area and Crystal Valley’s bike paths, hiking, and open areas. In SkyView, you can take advantage of the best that Colorado has to offer.
DR Horton has built The Pine Meadow community in Crystal Valley, one of Crystal Valley’s newest subdivisions. This lovely area is located on the community’s south end, near the conservation easement. The neighborhood is right next to the Castlewood Canyon State Park, so you get all the conveniences of city life with the feeling of being out on your own. Founders Village is one of Castle Rock’s classic communities. It offers breathtaking mountain views, community events and activities, and moderately priced houses. This community is located on the east side of Castle Rock, off Highway 86. It has quick access to Parker but is a touch farther away from I-25 than other Castle Rock communities.
Parks, trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, a pool, and clubhouses are just a few of the community’s appealing amenities. Residents of Founders Village like being close to Castle Rock’s great retail districts and inside the Douglas County School District’s borders.
Diamond Ridge is a smaller Castle Rock neighborhood with 126 custom-designed houses. It is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in Castle Rock. Each property is placed to provide a unique perspective of the 90-acre nature preserve in the neighborhood. Diamond Ridge is a short distance from Castle Rock’s major shopping areas but has its own secluded feel. This area is attractive for various reasons, including its luxury houses, closeness to the interstate highway, and outstanding views of Colorado’s breathtaking scenery.
Diamond Ridge homes typically range from $1-$3 million and are situated on one or two acres of land. More than five bedrooms, gourmet kitchens, butler pantries, libraries, walk-out basements, wine cellars, four-car garages, fire pits, and other amenities may be found in the most opulent homes in this neighborhood.
Sapphire Pointe is a unique residential environment located in Castle Rock’s eastern region. The neighborhood is a bit tucked away, but still isn’t too far from downtown Castle Rock, boutique shops, attractive restaurants, and numerous community activities sponsored by the Town of Castle Rock. These places and activities are around 10-15 minutes away from most Sapphire Pointe homes. It is a peaceful community that provides homeowners with a family-friendly, safe, and private environment. It is another one of Castle Rock’s classic neighborhoods, so there aren’t many new homes being built in the community.
Sapphire Point houses generally range in size from 4,000 to 5,500 square feet and have many contemporary features. Ranch-style houses may be found tucked within two-story homes, many of which have fireplaces, three-car garages, vaulted ceilings, covered patios, and other amenities.
Montaine is one of Douglas County’s newest and most treasured places to live in Castle Rock. Toll Brothers, a respected developer, has partnered with Wonderland Homes to construct this stunning new master-planned neighborhood. Montaine is conveniently located near I-25, along Crystal Valley Parkway, and south of the Plum Creek area. Montaine has split into two neighborhoods: a resort-style 55+ active-adult community and a resort-style single-family home development for all ages.
Both neighborhoods provide homeowners with spectacular vistas and miles of hiking and bike paths in a beautiful setting, as well as unique facilities. To keep things interesting, each community has its own amenities center.

Monument and Colorado Springs aren’t very far to the south from I-25.
