Lower Highland, often known as LoHi, is a trendy area noted for its cocktail lounges, craft beer bars, and chic restaurants, many of which have rooftop views of the cityscape. The Avanti Food and Beverage Hall, which is housed in shipping containers, and the Little Man Ice Cream store, which is located near Hirshorn Park, are both landmarks.

Regis is a rectangular area in the city’s northwesternmost corner. Many residents have been attracted to the neighborhood since it is still significantly less expensive than Berkeley to the south. While there are no Denver Public Schools campuses within its boundaries, the neighborhood is named after Regis University, a private religious college.
The pastel-hued Noshery is the star of the show here, with a menu of pastries, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches. El Taco Veloz serves excellent tacos. Willis Case Golf Course is popular among golfers because of its mountain vistas, especially from the first tee, and the diversity of each hole, which makes it more difficult than other city courses. Bikers love riding along the Clear Creek Trail, a 20-mile trail that runs through Regis from Golden to Commerce City. Lower Downtown, or LoDo, is a bustling, mixed-use area of 25 square blocks located in Denver’s finest historic district. More than 20 art galleries, roughly 100 restaurants, and clubs, dozens of professional, service, and retail enterprises, and approximately 1,000 residential units are located in the region.
LoDo hosted the cast of MTV’s iconic reality shows The Real World in season 18: The Real World: Denver in the summer of 2006. Several movies, notably Eddie Murphy’s Imagine That, were shot entirely or partially in the area.
