3. Snowy, Icy Roads
Winters are rarely super harsh in Colorado in general, but the roads can get pretty snowy and icy. This caused a big problem with traffic, as mentioned earlier, but in many cases, it is just inconvenient. In Castle Rock, a neighboring city, there are many different and alternate routes to take beside Meadows/Founders Parkway, the main road throughout the town.
