2. Easy Commuting & Transportation

Many Colorado cities don’t have great public transportation, but Englewood is a gateway between the Denver urban region and its south suburban areas or cities, including Littleton, Centennial, Cherry Hills, Parker, and Lone Tree. Due to its central position, it serves as a center for commuters using the town’s two RTD light rail stations. On weekdays, roughly 5,500 people travel through the Englewood station, while about 1,000 people pass through the Oxford station. Passengers on the C and D light-rail lines are dropped off at CityCenter Englewood, a transportation hub where they can transfer to another train to either downtown or south to Littleton.

A free shuttle dubbed “Art” is also operated by the City of Englewood and RTD. Art runs from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and connects CityCenter to Englewood Parkway, where cafés, fast-casual eateries, and other facilities await.
